September 2018 First Friday Art Walk in Ukiah

 

Art Center Ukiah 201 S School Street “Wild” means feral, uncultivated, untamed, unrestrained, disorderly or unruly. What is wild in your life or in your imagination? Art Center Ukiah presents local artists’ works interpreting what is “Wild”.  Fabric art, photography, paintings and sculpture represented. Live music and refreshments. Exhibit runs September 7 through September 29, 2018

 

W Real Estate 101 N State Street “W Real Estate is teaming up with Tim Poma to create one of a kind art work! Our team will be finger painting our art work and putting them on display in the office on Friday, September 7th! Along with art we will have food, drinks and lots of fun!”

 

Ukiah Valley Networking Agency  304 N State Street This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Granite Chili Cook-Off to raise money for the Ukiah Boys and Girls Club. The children from the Boys and Girls Club have created one of a kind art work that will be auctioned off to raise money for the club. Don’t forget to visit the art walk and the chili cook off.

 

Paradigm 312 S School Street Kathleen MacGregor will be at Paradigm for Sept Art Walk. She will show her  painting and collage pieces called Mediatograpghy.

 

Ukiah Public Library  105 North Main Street Join us for the First Friday Art Walk and view beautiful local quilts made by Mendocino Quilt Artists and the Rag Tag Quilters.   There will also be hands-on crafting of origami boxes lead by origami artist, Louise Yale and enjoy live music by Sheridan Malone.

Corner Gallery 201 S State St Corner Gallery is featuring Ukiah Photography Annual Show. Participants Photographers Jack Booth, Adel Clark, Judy Frosch, Judy Judd, David Mao, Tom Raymondson, Volkhard Sturzbecher and Manya Wik.

Bona Marketplace 116 W Standley Street Artist Willow LaLand-Yeilding, a Healdsburg painter, will be on hand at Bona with her new collection including several pieces from her abstract collection and also her wine  and vine related scenes from her more realistic collection, just in time for harvest
