The Tiny Home on the corner of Seminary Ave and School Street ExperienceTinyHomes.org is having it’s second debut of “Sierra” our amazing Tiny Home. This First Friday on Feb 1st, we will be located on the corner of Seminary and School street in Ukiah, CA. Our 33′ luxury Tiny Home will feature two artists, infused water and tasty snacks. Information about the artist and digital artists on display: Local Wood Artist – Rob Hassett has been wood turning over 20 years. Rob got his start when his dad bought a lathe. Since then the local wood turning club has been an inspiration along with many hours of trial and error. Rob received his AA in model making from Seattle Art Institute in 2000. All of the wood used is local California wood including Oak, Manzanita, Mulberry, Redwood, Madrone, Cherry, Black Walnut, etc. Digital Artist – Mary Serphos’s work fuses photo imagery with digital art. Using elements from the natural world combined with the rawness of street photography, her goal is to spark emotion and contemplation and allow the viewer to get a glimpse into what is often too private, or seemingly off limits to the ordinary eye. As she puts the camera down to edit what has been captured, deeper layers and dimensions are added to create the the final image. Mary has been exhibiting her work in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1998. Please check out Mary’s website: www.imagesbymaryserphos.com and her Instagram Gallery @maryserphos for a comprehensive look at over 7,000 of her artful images.

Corner Gallery 201 S State St Corner Gallery Origin of show: This is the second gallery show put together by Seven Sisters, a group of seven women artists including Nancy Simpson, Mickey
Fernandez and Nan Trichler from Willits, and Esther Siegel, Elizabeth Raybee, Julie Beardsley and Laura Fogg from the Ukiah area. We have continued to meet regularly during the year since our first group show at the Willits Center for the Arts… to share our heart-felt cooking, art
and opinions about the state of the world. With all that creativity and social consciousness in the air it was a natural move to put another show on the wall. Through our varied media of mosaic, beading, painting, collage, assemblage and quilting we find that we have a lot to say. theme: OPEN HEARTS In our current political climate of polarization, anxiety and fear for our
well being, we are also intensely aware that we live in a beautiful place and are surrounded by people we love. Our challenge was to look within and create a visual expression of the place where our negative and positive meet.

Canova Records 246 N State Street Pop-Up Culture Club of Ukiah happily invites you to come out and experience the artwork of Denver Tuttle. This interactive and thoroughly original artwork invites us to step out of our habits of perception. Come and see the unfolding magic of these special works of art. “I tend to think of my work as offering a focal point for something self-revelatory, between the artwork and the viewer. What interests me is conjuring an ephemeral experience, revealed through the artwork’s specific structure. My intent is to elicit an authentic experience through the foil of illusion.” Denver’s artwork will be on view at Canova Records & Music through the month of February.
