is featuring Don Pagano and Adele Pruitt, both accomplished artists in their 90’s!

Adele Pruitt is still going strong – still teaching numerous art classes, creating and selling paintings, which range in style from abstract to realist to simply gorgeous local landscapes.

Don Pagano has an artist feeling for the natural color of a landscape. His greatest pleasure is painting on location where he captures the light and shadows of nature at its best. Don has studied and painted in numerous workshops with nationally known artists. In 1981, Don painted throughout China. It was in China that he developed a strong desire for watercolor painting. He has had numerous showing and has won several awards in juried shows.

Grace Hudson Museum

will have a special preview showing of “California’s Wild Edge: The Coast in Prints, Poetry, and History,” a new traveling exhibition that will be on display from July 8 to October 8, 2017. “California’s Wild Edge” features artist Tom Killion’s Japanese-style woodcut prints, which vividly portray the coast’s ever-changing moods and diverse formations. The Museum will be open on First Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Explore the vibrant art of Block Printing, one of the oldest forms of printing that has been practiced across the world for centuries. You will learn to design, carve and stamp your own block.

This event is family friendly, free to the public and sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.
