Ukiah Library, 105 N Main Street, Ukiah
The Ukiah Branch Library staff invites the community to join us for Art Walk Ukiah on Friday,
November 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. Come see the work of local artist Leslie Kirkpatrick and her unique
collection of assemblage art. Assemblage is a style of art made by bringing together disparate elements. Vintage or everyday objects are repurposed by the artist and given a second life through their artistic assembly. Kirkpatrick enjoys recycling old things and putting them together in creative, new ways. Her assemblage art varies from whimsical to more serious – either way there’s a story for the viewer to interpret. Kirkpatrick sees the creation of her art as a puzzle yet to be solved, and she loves to put all the puzzle pieces together in a way that feels right.
Enjoy live music and an all ages, in-person collage craft. Shop our book sale as you browse the
Art Walk. This event is free to the public, open to all ages, and sponsored by the Ukiah Valley
Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.
